Technical Assistance

The provision of technical assistance for international development projects is one of Harewelle's core services. We are able to provide specialist expertise and support to governments, national authorising offices and donors to ensure that donor aid is spent in the most effective and efficient way. With increasing amounts of donor aid being channelled to developing countries it is becoming increasingly important that programmes are well managed and designed. One way in which to do this is through the provision of technical assistance, where experienced and highly qualified consultants are brought in to support local staff and decision makers.

Harewelle believes in providing technical assistance in various ways depending on the nature of the assignments it undertakes. We can provide support in the form of technical and diagnostic studies, training courses, seminars, workshops and consultancy through both internal resources and external consultants.

Harewelle has an extensive and successful record of providing high quality technical assistance to bilateral and multi-lateral funded programmes in Africa, south Asia and the Pacific. As with all Harewelle programmes, our technical assistance is supported by high quality programme management and financial administration in-country and from our UK based head office.
