Justice Sector reform - Global
Harewelle International has potential opportunities for specialists in Justice Sector reform in Africa and Asia. Harewelle would like to hear from consultants who have experience of delivering Justice Sector reform programmes working in cooperation with international donors for both short and long term inputs.
Areas of expertise are likely to include, but may not be limited to:
- Institutional development and capacity building
- Legal governance issues
- Anti corruption and anti money laundering
- Legal drafting, reviewing, amending and editing
- Bars associations and legal structures
- Specialists on the execution of judgements
- IT, case management and data base information systems
Apart from technical expertise in aspects of legal reform, suitable candidates will also have:
- Experience of working in capacity building initiatives in Africa and Asia in the legal sector
- Experience of project management of donor funded initiatives in the legal sector
- Good interpersonal and people management skills
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
- University degree in Law or public administration or in an equivalent field closely related to judicial administration and management policy
Some positions are likely to be at the team leader level and suit individuals who have successfully coordinated the delivery of programmes in the sector. This will include the management of expatriate and local technical specialists and experience in supervising and coordinating all aspects associated with the implementation of work programmes for professional teams.
