Harewelle provided a Tax and Revenue specialist for 8 months to support reform of tax administration and policy. This involved drafting the primary legislation, tax policies and procedures for both businesses and individuals which take into account the current and future economic circumstances of the island.
The project received a further two extensions to further assist the Financial Secretary in progressing and implementing the tax system reforms during the first phase. Specifically this involved ensuring the successful implementation of the legislative process and the management of the new tax system. (2008 - 2009)
