Evaluation of DFID's Work in Conflict Zones

Support to the UK National Audit Office to evaluate DFID's operations in insecure environments. The study comprised three elements: a literature review of the effectiveness of international interventions in insecure environments; a collection of comparative financial data on security costs; and field studies designed to validate the results of DFID interventions. Southern Sudan and Nepal were visited as case study countries. (2007)
