Nizhniy Novgorod Oblast Economic Regeneration

One of a number of projects under the Partnership between the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and DFID, the goal of this project was to create favourable conditions for economic regeneration and job creation in the region.  Working closely with the Ministry of Economy and Enterprise Development, Harewelle assisted in improving the design, monitoring, evaluation and implementation of a range of provisions, including investment policy and legislation, a tourism development programme, improvements to the rural and urban business environment, and improved access to finance for businesses.  (2003 - 2006)
