Appraisal of Joint Water Sector Programme for Uganda

Provision of a water and sanitation sector specialist to participate in the (joint) appraisal and technical assessment of DFID’s Joint Water and Sanitation Sector Programme Support prior to its finalisation.  Its aim was to identify constraints to sector development and to recommend areas where DFID should direct its future support to the sector.  In addition, the consultant was also enlisted to conduct a follow-up assessment of the JWSSPS, to provide clarification to DFID of key issues relevant to the Programme such as institutional/policy appraisal and management arrangements.
