Harewelle completes a review of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Zambia

Harewelle International recently provided two members of a five person team as part of a CARDNO Agrisystems participatory review of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' (MACO) in Zambia. The review was designed to look at MACO's performance in asssuming its leadership role in promoting agriculture as the engine of growth and poverty alleviation.

The Agrisystems team facilitated and guided MACO’s staff through a participatory review of its operational organisation, its institutional and legislative environment and its performance in fulfilling its mandate. This was implemented through a number of steps, including individual interviews, focus group discussion and a two-day workshop.
