Matt Morley

Following a three and a half year period in Lesotho as Programme Manager on the DFID funded 'Priority Support Programme' and 'Public Financial Management Programme', Matt has returned to the PMTC (Zambia) office in Lusaka. He is currently filling the role of Fund Manager on the Civil Society Environment Fund project recently awarded to the company by the Royal Danish Embassy. He is also the General Manager for PMTC (Zambia) and will be working with the team there on developing and managing new business for the company.

The CSEF is a USD 5.6 million project with two components namely the establishment and management of a Fund supporting Civil Society Organisations in the broad field of environmental management and the design and registration of a Environmental Resource Centre which is expected to run as an independent knowledge management and capacity development entity, targeting CSOs.

Matt is now into his sixth year with the Harewelle Group and has held positions on projects such as DEW Point  in the UK and abroad, as well as holding various roles in a business development capacity. He has a BA in War Studies and an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development and is currently enrolled on the Open University Post Graduate Diploma in Development Management as part of Harewelle’s professional development scheme.
