Monjur Hossain (Managing Director of PMTC (Bangladesh) Limited - Bangladesh)

Monjur is responsible for the overall management of PMTC (Bangladesh) operations in South East Asia, liaising with the Bangladeshi Government, donors and NGO agencies to promote company activities and business development.

He also supervises the work programmes of consultants employed by PMTC International and contributes to consultancy inputs where appropriate. Monjur is a leading Food Safety Management System Consultant who provides support to food processing plants.

Monjur previously worked at managerial level for more than 27 years in the National Tea Company Ltd, Bangladesh, completing his service as General Manager. His experience includes a wide range of Plantation Management and Development, both in field and factory.  He has undertaken many short-term consultancy assignments within the tea industry and other natural resource fields.
